I had no idea?! -old news?

ok, I knew that this one cousin in particular of mine is a "runner". I had no idea he was SO good! man, I can't wait til this cold front lifts so I can get my game on! it's incredibly encouraging... I know that this is "old" news but I don't see him very often.
