more like flourescent dill pickles

... our "family" room {the reno. room/basement} looks sort of like flourescent green dill pickles in the light - Steve was totally skeptical looking at it while it was wet. Wondering ~WHAT have we done?!~ LOL it dried a lot darker, thank goodness. It definitely needs more coats, maybe 1 possibly 2. I think it's going to be really cool, especially after the flooring is laid.
I have some fun pictures as we had the kids helping with the primer coat.

I'm feeling really worn out, tired and straight up LAZY today. Dawson and I are both still in our monday-clothes {ahem, pj's} :)
