just a little wish

so it seems impossible to get help around here. I get offers from my mom and mil to help us with packing... but I just feel at a loss for where to begin! I think I would really like for STEVE to be motivated to help me here and to have the kiddo's gone for the weekend -now THAT would totally be helpful! :)

and on another note, I want THIS! :D

Suppose to be scrapbooking tomorrow... hopefully it'll work out. we'll see....

It's funny how time seems to be DRAGGING on... and I betchya I'll wake up one day and be frantic! :D that's ok tho ;) it's all good!

So I've been busy lately pretty much just being a bum, but still busy. I've planted a few things, bought crap we likely don't/won't need... but of course that I WANT.

Ally is keeping me hopping. I'm dog tired!

OMG! I haven't felt so out of control!!!

Yesterday afternoon :darling: devil-daughter Ally decided it was time to ESCAPE ALCATREZ! aka -her crib! I was in the shower when she woke up and found her teetering over the side when I got up to her. I have no idea how long she was there like that! Talk about weakening my knees!!! so... the day went on... and it was all fine and stuff. Then ds got home and I decided to move some furniture around that I asked my dh to do MONTHS ago!
I thought he would have been shocked/impressed that I did it myself. He got home (at 9pm) -he gets off work at 4:30, NEVER leaves the office on time. And then had to stop to pick a few things. He didn't even say anything about the furniture until like 1/2 hour after he was home. Then he asked who helped me to do it... when I told him nobody -he hardly even gave a crap. {humphhh} So the side rail of the crib came off and it took until 11pm to get BOTH our kids to bed! I started at 7pm!!!!!! I was FIT tO bE tiEd! Needless to say, her first few nights I expect her to "fall out of bed" and of course she did, and well... it wasn't THAT bad. BUT then today for nap time I'm ready to tie her IN her bed!! It's now 2 hours past her nap time -and she is STILL fighting me. I finally gave up. I put her in bed, shut the door and turned the monitor down SO low I can just barely hear her. It was a couple minutes then it was quiet... yah? could it be? READ ON!

DAWSON decided that -she couldn't sleep so he let her out! WTH?????

please somebody... I'm going crazy.. actually I'm past that point and now I'm just in IGNORE mode.

I sent THE BOY outside to play, changed THE GIRL's bum and put her back to bed. Of course NOW would be the time THE BOY has to come back in...

I usually spend money when I am feeling like this, and dh has put a STRICT STOP spending on my head! he really does NOT know what thin ice he is treading on!

I've been scrapping this weekend -well, I should say TRYING to scrap... I won one of the challenges on the A.C Bailey Designs online crop {yippee!!} not the GRAND prize tho' ...ah well.
I've been doing some bird watching too... I LOVE birdwatching -ya, I'm weird! :P like you didn't already know that? :P

I don't have much to say... I'll post my layouts :)

ya ya, I know that there's TONS to do, but I did WAY more than ~MY~ fair share today.

I feel kinda like I'm being punished. Doing ALL the packing myself ::sigh:: I know wah wah wah...
but it's my blog and I'll whine if I want to! :P

I took the dog for a walk tonight and we saw a LOT of birds -the most unusual a Kingfisher.

my back hurts and ugh, I just feel like doing something that *I* enjoy...and if ALL that wasn't enough b*tching for ya, the talk around the water cooler must be about the NHL playoffs {rolling my eyes} dh only watches the games near the end.

guess I'll go back to ??? nothing?

been a while

seems I've been busy -what doing? ~beats me!

the weather sure is wishy washy... I've been trying to keep the lights off as much as possible and enjoying the natural light more. I feel that it's been helping a bit -I think? And been going to bed WAY early some nights between 9-10pm (est) ;)

I just LOVE spring! I think it's officially my new favorite -sorry winter, you just aren't cutting it anymore!

so far...so TIRED!

I did *TRY* to make Steve get Dawson ready solo -I waited to get up. Everything went pretty smoothly. I could probably use about a 12 hour nap, that's wishful thinking eh? ;)

So I spoke to my mom this morning and she sounded alright -mentioned that she has a headache but I'm guessing she is feeling stressed. She didn't say anything about her eye but she's going to the dr. today. Something that 'bugs' me about my mom is that even tho' she is a 50+ adult -she still feels the need to have someone else's permission for what she does in life. That just drives me mental! I mean, it's one thing if there is a mutual decision to be made with your spouse, but sometimes I just want her to realize that she needs to take care of herself END OF STORY!

so today! I want to make it a MARVELOUS MONDAY! I'm going to do what I can to keep it positive and productive ~ wish me luck ;)
on the 'to do' list:

• laundry (2-3 loads should catch us up)
  
• work with Heidi while Ally naps (probably 1/2 hour)
  
• Work on A.C Bailey challenge #3 (while doing laundry)
• wash up the dishes (before they get out of hand!)

anything beyond this list will be bonus {such as making supper!}

feeling kinda bummed

I have absolutely NO real reason to be feeling this way, I'm thinking I *might* just be tired. I had a pretty busy day yesterday -and I think I'm paying for it today. I'm SO out of shape.

Today I found out that my mom had a blood vessel that burst -in her eye! ~my first though was GROSS! then she proceeded to tell me that the Dr.'s figured that she had a mild heart attack recently. I'm still not sure that, it has registered in my mind... seems surreal ya know?

I have been doing these challenges on the A.C Bailey Designs forum on a pretty regular basis, each time you take on a challenge you are entered into a draw that is for a cricut!!! Something I wouldn't buy on my own, but I'd LOVE to win/own one. Each week a winner is chosen and they win a $25 gc for use in the store... I haven't won, yet -which also has me a titch bummed out.

Dawson has school tomorrow, and Steve had him up and OUTSIDE until 8:30 tonight... I have the nerve to not even get up in the morning and ~FORCE~ Steve to get the boy up, dressed, fed and lunch and out the door without my help. Of course that won't happen.

Steve spent ALL afternoon fixing the stupid lawn mower. I worked on the layouts that my mil wanted me to do for b/sil's wedding album. I'm glad they're done, I have found lately that I'm enjoying scrapbooking more as an art form rather than just to "preserve memories".

I am really feeling cranky... oh and the dog! UGH! the DANG DOG -you know what, I'm not even going to GO there right now!

Tomorrow is going to be a brighter happier day!

I don't have much time right now... I have a REALLY sore back -been bothersome for a few days now! :(

but I HAD to post! :D I have some AWESOME stinkin' news!!!

Steve went for an interview at work a while ago and today he found out that he GOT THE JOB!!! ya!! :) not to mention that *I* woke up to a phone call from the radio station that I listen to... wahoo!!! I won!!!! I entered a contest for the "at work employee of the day". Only problem is I forget what the prize was I think it's a gift card for Staples but we'll see ;)

Brrr... it's COLD outside -and the dog is ~IN~ the lake!
