STiLL no internet :(

hey everyone!

I know that once I get the net set up at home you are all going to have to get reaquainted with me :P LoL Steve is DA-MAN! he's been doing an awesome job creating my scrapping space -I have the computer set up right there and the kids toy/tv space is the other half of the basement... therefore we can all do our own thing ;) He also is doing what is necessary to fix up the electrical panel thingy so that we can get the dishwasher hooked up the old one has a REALLY sore back! ;) And I think the pool will be next in line to that. I called to find out about getting the pool opened -Steve is hesitant about spending the money on having it done... the kids and I just want it OPEN! -it's freakin' HAWT living in the city!!!!! there are virtually no shady fields to roam in unless you drive for about 20 minutes. (or so it seems)

the dogs are really enjoying our new place, I think we've been able to spend more time playing with them etc. Heidi is 9 months and just started her first 'heat'... the first day was kinda messy, so we kept her in her kennel. Now you would never know... but we still keep her out of the main part of the house.

I'm at the inlaws today -packing up my scrappy stuff to bring to my house -I can't WAIT to get scrappin' again!

moved...no internet... flood!

NEVER will be soon enough to move again!

we aren't online -yet, hopefully soon. I ended up flooding the basement while doing laundry {d'oh!}

We're out at the inlaws right now, mil made a DELICIOUS lasagna, salad and angel food cake with fruit salad for dessert -yummy!! *Ü*

I'm SO relaxed in our new house it's just amazing -there honestly is nothing like it. I actually don't mind doing laundry!!! and I've been keeping up with the dishes too (probably b/c I know that we have a dishwasher just waiting to be hooked up) ;)

I miss having internet access it's my life line to my reality world -surely if dh doesn't have us hooked back up soon I'll have to figure it out myself {evil cackle}

final days! ...FINALLY!!

We are finally in the last days of being here in the cottage on the lake. Parts of me will REALLY miss this place -but the size is just WAY too small!

I do believe we plan to unhook the computer very soon -so I may not be around for updates until we're MOVED! :)

any and ALL good luck and prayers for sanity will be accepted CHEERFULLY! :D

it's getting there!!

my mom came out yesterday and we ROCKED this place! We got SO much accomplished we were both beat ~actually had a NAP afterward! The only bit that is left to do is the sunroom -computer, bathroom and that's about it! :)

Steve is in a funk- I'm not sure WHAT his jiff is these days, but it's REALLY been frustrating me to no end.

so today the kids and I are totally veggin'.

what do I get for 5?

well, I think I deserve at least a LITTLE something??? even verbal praise!!! I got pretty well all our cups/glasses/plates/bowls and not used often dishes packed up today as well as some of our overstock of non perishables. I know that it doesn't seem like much but when you are already a 24/7 momma to 2 kiddo's and 2 four legged's not to mention a wife too... packing is an ENTIRE job!
*I* think I deserve some credit. Men just don't get it! I mean, seriously if your s/o (wife/gf) was happy with you hugging/kissing and praising her for doing what YOU otherwise would have pay somebody to do... wouldn't it relieve you? My dh just doesn't seem to GET IT????

when I want credit -and I don't get it, I get mad! I do less work, and I spend more money! Wouldn't it just be better in the long run to just dote freely on me? I know it would definitely be cheaper and he'd probably be a happier man! ;)

ugh! I'm SUCH a hoser!!!
I went dashing to help Ally whom tipped {while playing} over on her rocking chair -read: not REALLY injured! and I myself smashed into the baby gate and busted it! My lower left shin now has a lovely lump and a scrap/bruise on it :(
It scared the liver outta me!! my leg went numb and I just dropped. I had just put chicken on the bbq, the potato's were boiling and I couldn't move. I had to call my mil to come and help with the food -good thing Ally wasn't hurt! poor kid.

I guess that's what happens with lack of sleep. Speaking of which... zzzzzzzz.....

I'm getting excited... and anxious... and NERVOUS! we move in 11 days!!!!

It seems like no matter HOW much stuff I get packed up there is just no where to put the boxes! If I leave them in the living room, they are in the way and then the kiddo's start pulling the stuff all out. If I stack them in the sun room the dog chews them! my closet is already FULL of packed boxes. I just wish we could move them as we pack'em!

I'm tired today -both the kids have been sleeping TERRIBLY. Dawson has something funky going on... it's like he's awake and hollering and talking etc. but when I check on him he is TOTALLY asleep (even calling me dad) ~weird!
Ally is also a horrible sleeper...I think we got maybe 3-5 hours max last night between the two of us.

Today is a rainy day -Dawson is home from school... not sure what we're going to do.

I failed -how bout you?

To be honest I have had time and just chose to veg instead of trying out any of my challenges :P
so since I didn't do it, I don't expect that anyone else did either.

my dh is bbq'ing steak and it smells SO delish! {drooling}

went shopping today -got a pair of jammer shorts, I use to LOVE jammers, and lately I have been thinking they looks SO retro and NOT cool. So what do I do? but buy myself a pair, of course *I* make them look GOOD tho. LoL {ya, go ahead and laugh...}

so... only like 12 days to go. I am seriously getting anxious :D

combination of *13*

I'm going to do a 13 combination...

First, we found and bought our house not only on April 13th, but FRIDAY the 13th!! oooh....

Then today the countdown day to our closing date/moving is 13 days away.

And last but not least... how bout for all you photographer buffs (and/or) scrapbooking/cardmakers- let's see your stuff!!

photographers -I'd LOVE to see 13 shots of nature outdoorsy stuff cool trees,birds, flowers, bugs...

Scrappers -Thrill me with 13 DIFFERENT embellishments on a layout :)

Card makers -what would be more exciting than to make a baker's dozen of a SET of cards!

ME? Ok, Your ON!! I can likely pull off the photography however I don't have time for scrapping/cardmaking today :(
I'm going to be sanding & painting furniture :D

Becky -thanks SO much for all of your suggestions {{hugs}} I've had so many offers from friends etc. but NOW I want their help and nobody is offering. Before it felt too soon to me. I did actually already do what you suggested and have been decluttering as I pack -it's helped in some aspects. Some other things it seems that since *I* am the one packing, the first thing I pack up is the first thing {dh & ds} think they need! :|

AM - I'm skeptical about the cutter thingys too, but I figure if I had something that I could download what I want and have precut it would be sahweet!
