I guess it was BOUND to happen!

look what my kid did before I got out of bed this a.m. You may or may not be able to see it very well, but he decided to cut his own hair. It looks a LOT worse in person. ~guess he'll be regretting it as he's going to be getting his "summer" cut now brrr.... CRAZY Kid!






Heidi did a LOT better last night at obedience, however she also showed a bit MORE aggression towards a couple of the other dogs... there are only 4 of them in the class. {another shepherd -Emma, a chocolate lab -Murphy, and a ??? little white something? -Raimy?} She thinks Murphy is alright, I'm not sure if it's b/c he is a HE or if it's b/c he ignores her. She locked eyes with the little white (I want to say Raimy is like a westie? or something like that) and ended up wearing the gentle leader so that I could continue training. ~BRAT!
For obvious reasons she does NOT like the gentle leader ...but in one evening it sure helped!

I can't believe that time is FINALLY starting to fly by, yipppeeeee!!! :D

there is SO much snow here it's crazy, I think if people want a 'white' Christmas these days then we're going to have to switch it to February! ~it's so peaceful~

I got some scrappy goodness yesterday -part of an order for a friend and of course I tacked on a few goodies for moi! :) I have been dabbling into something else just recently, and my dh is starting to question my ongoings -LOL- I think, that he thinks I have aDD... I just can't sit still and do nothing, although I should as I'm feeling really worn out and tired.

I've been feeling good as of lately tho!!! Heidi and I have obedience this evening... looking forward to see how she acts this time.

wow, a record THREE posts in a day...

I've been surfing around the scrapper blogs and found one by clicking and then clicking and clicking again...All I remember is that it all started within Ann's blog -so it's her FAULT! :P

I found this one sight that peeked my interest ScrapJacked so I thought I'd give it a whirl-especially since I've been having issues with the 7x7 album of Heidi. Here's what I did... I don't know if I really want to say it's FINISHED tho... we'll see ;)

OH MY GOSH! I am full. My wonderful, loving and darling hubby made an impecible chicken recipe for supper. It was SO honkin' good, but I ate WAY too much! I am SO full I want to explode... or barf! :P

The days sure are flying now!!! only like 13 days until my trip :D :D :D

of course I thought I had 5 minutes HA! WHAT was I thinking??? kids! I swear they think they RULE my life... who'my kidding... they DO!


This weekend I got the dishes done -they've been adding up since wednesday! eeek! got the laundry done again only 2 loads this week... but I'll have bedding to do next. :sigh: the joys of modern conveniences -I only wish we had them under our roof!

ok, kids... dog... my roll of too much for supper making me feel uncomforable sitting here.... ;)

Where have I been?!?!

I actually found a couple things to do this week! Can you imagine?! I HAD A LIFE! LOL

ok, seriously...Tuesday's Heidi and I will be doing obedience training for the next couple months and Wednesday was my once a month (altho' I had hoped for once a week it's turned into once a month!) night out. I put the cards I made up in the previous post. As per Shannon's request, apparently she thinks I should post more of my 'efforts' on here :P we'll see...

I am hoping to work a bit more steadily on scrapbooking... I got a new toy the Cuttlebug :D it's still sitting in the box. {sigh}

Ally has been sick and I honestly have a hard time believing that it's "just an ear infection" she has chesty spit up and her nose is plugged so bad that she is forced to barf when she gets coughing :( Aside from lack of sleeping she's in pretty good spirits ~thankfully~

Dawson is doing well. I'm not sure what on earth is going on at school as he has came home twice now SOAKING wet! -winter coat, snow pants, socks, jeans SOAKED!
I'm looking forward to spring! :P

the laundry is DONE!

MAN! I'm hurtin', my back aches like crazy. Not only is the laundry washed, dried but it's also ALL PUT AWAY! that always seems like just as much work as it does to get it washed, and folding ...man I think I HATE laundry! just as much as I hate washing dishes. ;)
3 definite appliances we MUST have in our next place is DISHWASHER, washing machine and dryer!

k, and the other bit of news I got my second rejection for DT tryouts ~ah well, such is life ;)

tomorrow Dawson is off and I think we're going to do some 'math' in the kitchen ....mmmm!!

would it be SO wrong?

I mean, if *I* am the one that is bothered by living in this mess... and *I* am the only one that seems to be wanting to get everything straightened up, and for some reason SOMEBODY at SOME point in time decided that the cleanliness of the house is somehow the responsibility of the woman... would it be wrong if I just threw EVERYTHING in the garbage? I mean, within reason, but I just can't get over how crazy our place is. I even cleaned the kitchen on Friday and have been keeping on top of every little thing that is left laying out. {don't forget pet peeve alert is cupboard doors left open -ya, banged my head on the sharp corner of one today!} grrr....
I LOVE my husband he just seems to have NO ambition to help me out in this dilema. Today he went to church -I stayed home b/c Ally was ready for her nap and desparately needs one being sick and all. I have resorted to HOUNDING him about what we were going to do about cleaning. I might as well BEAT MY HEAD INTO A DOOR! so I knew that the church treasurer stuff needed to be wrapped up for people's tax receipts so I sat down and helped him with that. On wednesday I did a bunch of data entry while he sat on his ass and drank beer and watched tv -which actually I didn't mind b/c the kids were hanging off of him instead of me ;) then yesterday he "took care of Ally" while I wrote out all the receipts... I guess my complaining comes down to the fact that I am doing what I can to help him out and he's not reciprocating. I really don't want to go and do ALL the laundry myself, but well... he's left me without a choice. When he gets home I'm packing it up and heading off to 'GIT-R-DONE'. Probably going to cost a hundred bucks! -i hope that this is an exageration.

Dawson is off tomorrow and I was thinking that we could go and visit my g'ma. We haven't seen her in a while, but then with Ally being sick, I'm not sure that's a good idea. Daws has also been wanting to go to the scrapbook store [???] not exactly sure why? he mentioned playing with the toys there.... go figure! if he MEANT it, I'd consider -but I know that the chances are that is a ploy for something else -just not sure what!

The weather has been crazy here the past couple days, snowing and blowing. Today the sun is shining and the sky is blue, there is still wind, but the warmth of the sun is melting the snow.
It seemed strange registering Daws for soccer yesterday -I nearly drove off the road once or twice, just from wind gusts and the drifty parts of snow on the roads.

only 20 more days to go until I'll be in {better be warm} California!!! yipppeeee!!! :D I cannot begin to explain HOW much I am looking forward to hanging out with Shan ;)
I think I'm going to attempt to scrap for a bit here, I've been working on trying to figure out what I want to do for Heidi's album. The album is 7x7 and I'm use to 12x12 it's a HUGE difference to not have much space to play in, not to mention the album is "pretty" and Heidi is ...well, .... a german shepherd and as much as she is "GORGEOUS" she's not the dainty "pretty" type! ;)

I feel like I have found my groove...let's hope it sticks! :D

dog?! kid!? messy house?!!

ugh! I'm beside myself. I don't even feel like blogging. I'm SO honkin' tired... Ally is cutting teeth BIG time! more than 4 molars all at once and I think she has a cold on top of that. She doesn't sleep well on the best of nights so you might imagine that it's now even worse. Then to top that, once I just plunked her in bed with me, we were ~finally~ catching a few winks, when LOW AN' BEHOLD Dawson comes along and wants to get in our bed too! :( Dh just snores away -I decided to put Ally in her crib {she fussed for a while then fell asleep} Dawson takes up MORE than my 1/2 of the bed so I sought out the couch. And of course I got a WHOPPING hour before dh and ds were up and arguing. The next 23 days connot sneak up on me FAST ENOUGH! :|

The weather forecast has been calling for a winter storm 'the worse for 2007' -which of course blows me, b/c it's only the 2nd month into 2007 ???

I'm TOTALLY bored... I think I'm playing the "I just don't wanna" card. There is TONS, literally TONS to do around here... I just "don't wanna" do anything! :P

I ACTUALLY SLEPT this afternoon. I mean I SLEPT! like a rock! for HOURS!!!!! weird... then when I woke up I felt yucky. bleh... I'm o.k, but my guts feel yucky.

I *have* plans to go out tomorrow -not sure about that just yet now.

THAT wasn't a good idea...

I was up until 3am!!!! I scrapped until 1:30am can you believe it??? and I didn't even get 1 single layout done. It's still in the works... I have decided we have WAY too many supplies and I just get baffled to have to decide what on earth I should use. it's insane! LOL

The layout I was working on was from 1994 -I took a different style on with it and I really feel that it's more challenging. I need to do the journalling for it and I was going to do it in white pen with *MY* hand writing... I'm not sure tho'. My white sakura is causing me grief :| and with all the raving about it, it sure isn't living up to my expectations.

Steve's out chopping wood today, I was going to do laundry -but it's more than I feel like taking on and he said I'd have to take Ally with me. {right!}

Not really much doin' round here. I think it's going to be a weekend to just hang out, maybe I'll go for a walk? -MAYBE! ;)

Well, I had contemplated giving blogging a break so that I'd come up with something more EXCITING to write about... but I just can't resist!

did you know that when I was a teenager, I wanted to be a writer? I guess that could be a little hidden fact about me -how bout you? any little PG rated facts? BUT! I do NOT enjoy reading. Imagine a writer that doesn't read?? I think if I ever do decide to write something it'll likely be in the bathroom reading section ;)

Last night our "cat" {whom is actually a dog} decided to run away! We have resorted to putting her in her kennel at night b/c she does this REALLY annoying thing during the night. FIRST she is a mere 10lbs {give or take} and she sounds like an elephant when she jumps down off of furniture. So if that doesn't wake you then surely the head flap will. WHY oh WHY do dogs have to shake their heads???? and her ears make the MOST annoying noise!
So anyway, Steve put her outside before going to bed, and when he went to call her back in, she was gone-ZO! I had already gone to bed and was actually already asleep, he came up to bed and told me about Daisy running away. {SIGH!} He said he went out looking for her and calling but no luck. Now, don't forget it is FREEZING cold. The lake is frozen -not totally but remember this dog is about the size of a 2lb bag of sugar! *I just had a visual -bag of sugar with legs* ;0) so I went out looking for her with Heidi -our REAL dog! :P and also had no luck. So I put Hides back to bed and decided that the "cat-dog" probably ran down the road. I went for a drive to the inlaws and low and behold there she was, and acting so "proud" of herself -GRrrrr!!!! at least we found her...
She is still acting ~weird~ she keeps shaking like a shivery sort of shake, but it's not cold in the
house, and she follows me around like I have beef jerky on me. [which just to clarify -I don't!]

Ally needs me... I might have more to say later ;) Until then, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

boring blog!

It has just occurred to me that my blog is getting pretty BOR-ING! Time to liven it up... but how? NO! I'm going to take off my clothes, so don't be afraid :P

did I mention the dead duck in the frozen lake? It just blows my mind... I mean, you know when ducks are, hmm, do ducks 'swim'? or what is it called? anyway, they are "whatevering" and then they dive their head under to fish, and sometimes if they are just looking their butt end sticks up, well, this duck's butt end is up!

I think I need to GET A LIFE! :P

My mind races a million thoughts per second and not a single one is actually interesting enough to blog about.
I cleaned the kitchen on monday -woohoo, and it's STILL clean! :O WOOHOO!! {for anyone who doesn't know me that well, this is a MAJOR accomplishment!} LOL

I think I'm going to do some creating today. I just don't feel like cleaning ya know?

sigh... so the boring blog saga continues... sorry :P

oh WHAT a day!

Man... it started out not great, I don't know WHY I thought it would get any better. I didn't want to get up, it was C-c-cold!! Dawson didn't want to get up, he NEVER does :P on school mornings. If I was telling him to get up b/c we were going to ??? do something FUN, he'd be up'nadum! :sigh:

Anyway, so I decided that since we needed a few groceries and household stuff, Ally and I would head out to Super Walmart. 2 hours later we were done and heading home. Not bad! ;)

While I was putting the groceries away, my lil' darling climbed up the kitchen chair -she's ALWAYS climbing! but this time she fell and landed on her side/head :( I couldn't get her to stop crying, she wouldn't nurse and she kept sort of favoring her right side. I called the dr. and right away they said to take her to the ER. So off we went. I swear it took me longer to get her freakin' snowsuit back on than it did to drive there. {ya I was speeding a but just a little} So after all was said and done... she's ok *whew!* When we got home, and even right now she has NOT climbed at all. Not even on her own chair. But she is mobile and starting to perk up more and more.


I was going to mention that the lake is froze up quite a bit and there is a dead duck 1/2 sticking out :( gross eh? kinda put a spin on the phrase, "you're a dead duck!"

Nothing going on today, just a headache -bleh.

I had big plans to scrap this weekend, but with the supplies being at the inlaws, and with poor Steve feeling yucky (MAJOR eyeroll) I felt bad and only scrapped for 1/2 a day yesterday (that is before he showed up there with the kids) then today I had a headache all day that just wouldn't quit!

The superbowl halftime show is on. Prince is alright.... not GREAT! but alright...

it's frickin' COLD outside. I took the dog for a little walk and I nearly FROZE on the way back -of course you have to walk into the wind one way or the other.

I made some cards last night and had the kids in bed at a decent time. yah!! it doesn't happen too often. I had plans for today, they are now kaboshed :P mainly b/c of the weather, but I also think that if I just stay low key I could kick this cold without going to the dr. ;)

So now today, I think I'll just fart around... maybe I'll even vacuum *MAYBE!*
